"The Cultured Cook" is a recipe book concept created to celebrate the joy of food, family, and tradition. Designed with the intention of being passed down through generations, this book serves as a keepsake where recipes can be collected, shared, and preserved. The design explores the connection between culture and cuisine, emphasizing how food carries memories and stories across time.
For this project, I designed two unique cover concepts that capture the spirit of cooking in a fun, playful, and bold way. Each cover draws inspiration from the vibrancy of the kitchen—through color, typography, and illustrative elements—inviting readers to not only cook, but to connect with their heritage and loved ones through recipes. The visual approach balances modern design with timeless sentiment, making The Cultured Cook both a functional recipe collection and a cherished family heirloom.
